The winds alongside the Oregon coast this morning have been extraordinary with gusts to 80-90 mph (see map beneath). There have been many energy outages.
Even the Washington Coast has had some critical wind from the passing low, together with gusts to 50-60 mph.
And then there’s the snow! The mountains have been hit arduous, with 1-2 toes. You will want chains to cross Snoqualmie Pass this morning (see image). November within the Northwest is traditionally the interval of most lively climate and this 12 months won’t disappoint.
