Episode Description

The climate is about to show stormy, moist, and windy, as the primary robust entrance reaches our coast later right now.
And related with this transformation is the strengthening of the jet stream, the present of robust winds aloft, and its motion proper over us, with winds reaching 150 mph from the west over the weekend
The forecast map of higher stage winds (200 hPa, roughly 35,000 ft) reveals robust winds extending from Japan to our coast (purple are winds of 150 kt and extra!).  The flight from Japan to Seattle can be fairly quick on Sunday.
My podcast gives you an in depth forecast and clarify the origin of the jet stream and a few historical past of its impacts.
